OUR ETHOS
We're a team made up of engineers, designers, ex-founders, and more. We assembled from around the world with the common goal of creating amazing products that will enable people to explore more without harming the planet. We believe the world would be a better place if people had the freedom and self-reliance to live, work, and explore anywhere, sustainably integrated within nature. That's why we're leading the electric revolution of recreational vehicles to allow people to get closer to nature without harming it.
THE ORIGIN STORY
After forming the company in 2022, we were invited to work out of the Newlab manufacturing co-working space at Michigan Central, which is sponsored by Ford. We were so excited to build that we couldn't even wait for building construction to complete. So by our own volition, for a few weeks, we worked out of a parking lot in the Michigan cold. After scoring some sympathy points, we were able to move to a heated tent, where we worked for a few more weeks until we were finally able to move into the beautiful finished Newlab building. If that's not dedication, we don't know what is.
MICHIGAN COLD
Our commitment to build immediately had us working outside through a freezing Michigan winter.
HEATED TENT
Ford hooked us up with a heated tent to minimize frostbite during the remainder of the build.
NEWLAB OPENS
Newlab opened in April 2023 and we quickly made sure we were the first company to move in.
GROUNDED 1ST FACTORY
We expanded to assemble our vans in our own dedicated 13,000 sq ft facility.
GROUNDED 2ND FACTORY
We cut the ribbon on our own 50,000 sq ft manufacturing facility in Detroit.
AS IT STANDS
We have now expanded into our own 50,000 sq ft dedicated manufacturing facility in Detroit — a 1,900% increase in production capacity. In August 2026 we closed a $5M seed round to scale commercial fleet production (read the TechCrunch coverage). Our team has rapidly grown to have a double-digit headcount, allowing us to shape the future even quicker. We have camper vans and work vans on the road across the country, with many more being built very soon.
We think Detroit is having a resurgence. It is the place to be for mobility-defining companies, and we are proud to be a part of this wave. The future is bright.
